Esteban Benavides Rodriguez is a Colombian sound designer and audio engineer with over 5 years of experience as an audio professional. He is passionate about the intersection of arts and technology and is interested in how these can be combined for storytelling to transmit and evoke emotions for the intended audience.

He has worked on a variety of projects in the video game, music, and TV industries. He currently works as an Audio Designer for interactive media at Rev Rooms Sound in Brighton, UK. Previously, he was a Sound Designer at Microsoft Turn 10 Studios in Redmond, USA, working on the audio team for Forza Motorsport (2023).

​Prior to working in video games, Esteban worked in linear media content, primarily as a sound designer and composer for numerous advertising campaigns for some of the most renowned brands in Colombia, such as Grupo Exito, Caracol Television, Caracol Radio, Revista Semana, RCN, Davivienda, Servientrega, and many more. He has also worked with international clients including Netflix, Cox, Ford, and Kimberly Clark. Additionally, he has worked and collaborated as a sound designer on the audio for several advertising campaigns with companies such as Sancho BBDO, Leo Burnett, McCann Erickson, and Wunderman Thompson.

Esteban holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Audio Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, where he graduated with honours in 2018. Subsequently, in 2021 he relocated to the United States to pursue a Master of Arts in Sound Design at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), graduating from the program in 2022.
